A bit about me…
I like researching the people, histories, and ideas behind my subjects; it allows me to carve with a fuller understanding. Before I discovered printmaking, I spent my time wasting time. The process changed that. It demands presence. Through this practice I’ve learned to slow down, pay attention, and value the quiet focus each piece requires.
As I take the steps to be healthier in mind and body, printmaking has become a perfect way to make slow art — to work toward goal‑oriented projects rather than today’s reward‑oriented behaviours.
